I wanted to talk to my coworkers about Unionization and I didn't want to get fired. I didn't want my friends to get fired.

I wanted a way to see who else was interested, anonymously. It's illegal for our bosses to fire us for talking about unionization, but we know that doesn't matter. I wanted a way to see who else was interested, anonymously.

At the heart of it, this is just an anonymous poll. Do you want to unionize?

When a particular business reaches a threshhold percentage of people signed up, I alert the local union. It's up to them afterards. They know what percentage works best for a certain industry/business. They know if one business can unionize alone, or if it's safer to wait for all the businesses in a city to unionize together.

And YOU can help! This only works if people know about it. Spread the word!

I don't track you. I don't know who you are. If you use a burner email, that's all I have. There's no ads to track you. I don't know your name. I don't put any weird tracking cookies on your device, just enough to know you're logged in.

I don't trust Twitter, Facebook, etc not to track people. I don't want anyone blackballed in their industry. I don't trust that any platform hosting this wouldn't be shut down or otherwise be taken over.

Two ways!
• Help Fundraise! - This won't work if it's a weekend project. I need to work on this full time for it to succeed and there's no billionaire Venture Capitalists wanting to fund this, oddly enough.
• Spread the word! - Tell trusted friends. Tell people, anonymously. Leave flyers at the bus stop. Put this up on social media ONLY IF YOU'RE SUPER COMFORTABLE WITH THAT! Please don't spread the word at YOUR workplace. We don't want you caught with a pocket full of excuses to fire you! Tell strangers! Tell your friends! Don't scrawl it on the bathroom stall! Don't grafitti it on an overpass!
